List of Conventions
_____________________The Annual Convention gives members the opportunity to meet other collectors from across the country and expand their knowledge of Pickard China. Each convention includes a business meeting to discuss the operation of the Pickard Collectors' Club. The convention activities typically include a welcome reception, multiple viewings of Pickard collections, a tour of the city, several informative presentations by members and guest speakers, an evening banquet and auction, as well as, a dealer show and sale.

Dates and activities have not been determined. 2009 Long Beach, CA April 23-26 Stayed aboard the Queen Mary Hotel in 1st class staterooms. Cocktails and viewing Pickard collections in private homes. Tour of the Getty Villa in Malibu -- home to an extensive collection of antiquities and ancient art. Guided tour of the Gamble House in Pasadena. Presentations on Pickard and early California pottery, and a behind the scenes guided tour of the Queen Mary. Banquet & Auction. 2008 Cincinnati, OH April 17-20 Ohio riverboat dinner cruise. Tours of city, an art museum, a visit to an antique mall, and lunch overlooking the Ohio river. Presentations about Cincinnati's influence on artistic woodcarving in the late 1800s, and the city's architectural sculpture.
